The classes in gym - Indonesia 2025

I am not a gym person simply because the image/ vision of a person running on a treadmill remind me of a hamstesr. But now I have to  adopt.

In Surabaya, walking outdoor has so much cons:

- hot, humid, dust

- high possibility to get robbed, assaulted, or even hit by a car.

... I think those are the most major reason I can think of why people are more of indoorsy in here.

But I always join the gym for the classes.

I found this gym on 2018 after I resigned and waiting for my student visa. An old friend in our yoga class introduced me of it. I forgot how we met. I did ask her how did we meet. We had same teacher but different club. then when something happened, teacher move, so was the students. Yes we are picky to choose a teacher. Until teacher has her own yoga practice in her house, we were not able to afford it. It is something more advance and has physiotherapy kind of thing, took more $$ for her to gain the certificate.

I do enjoy the classes - Zumba, Steps, Poundfit, Yoga. Sadly, TRX class has been dismissed quite a while ago.

Apparently my level of fitness in yoga has been decreasing. The wheel yoga was not easy at all! The other class, I salute the instructors. They have high energy in movement and words. No matter how low we are they keep on motivating! And seems all the classes are high impact from the start to end.

Tried to be a hamster myself, it was so much easier to run on a treadmill, but so hard to keep up as I felt like melting. Were the aircons even working?!?!? (yes they are).
