(really early) Morning walk - Indonesia 2025

So, I promised to do more self care during my visit. Meaning maintaining my active lifestyle.

Glad that met my second degree cousin in the Imlek dinner eve. It got me connected with my other friend. Himself, has been into more active lifestyle to have a better Glucose Index level and prevent a depression to crawl in, which he managed to get out from.

Would you like to join tomorrow,  though we usually have it on Saturday and Sunday morning. We walk to that property.

Sure why not? What time?

4:30am.

What?!?!
In my climatized Kiwi mind, I need sun! What is a morning without a sun! But I said yes anyhow. He'd pick me up 4:15am. Though I was still in my jet lag, my body clock was in NZ time, woke up at 3am. Yet I still need a bit of light to wake me up, the real sun light does wonder to the life on earth, really.

Met the other 2 girls, one has been one of my dear friend. We hugged, I was so touched. Not many of us has this hugging habit. She looked really well, after all she went through. The last time we met was before I applied for visa to NZ? She just had her miracle baby that they have been waiting for years through in vitro fertilization.

This east Surabaya residential area, is one of crazy rich complex. They keep on opening new cluster, new housings, new malls. I was impressed really. Whatever they touch turns into gold. But I don't want to entertain how those business was being built and made. I remember, one of an expat teacher squealing "Who lives there??? The Queen???"

Just had one tiny house in the picture, and the bigger size of the housese were pretty common around some main road. And I say to myself "Who lives there? The Queen?"

We walk pretty relaxed pace. Even some people were not running but jogging. Everything was slower compared to people walking and running in Conrwall Park. But I may understand why, the humidity and heat soon froze me of doing anything excessive.

7am, we finished our route. 6 km according to MapMyWalk apps. We kept on talking, especially the other three. What a release of stress of the week!

When we walked back just before 7am, the traffic was crazy, that was the time students to get into their classes. There are 3 big campuses for elementary and secondary near by. And the heat has started to sting. Now I know 5 am is perfect for a morning walk!
