There is a Chinese saying:
"Save a man from drowning, you are responsible to him for life"
Knew this phrase from TED whilst Amy Tan presented. According to her & her mom, it means dont get involved to somene's bussiness or u r really gonna stuck with it.

I think more of chinese should pattern it in their family life!
Isn't it in chinese family that conflicts triggered by ignoring this saying?
